July 01-30, 2010 - Visual Expression
Overview:
The course is designed to introduce students to the artistic and technical part of the lighting process. Students work with supervisors to design, construct and assemble the lighting for upcoming theatre productions.

August 01-29, 2010 - The Production
Overview:
THe Production is designed to introduce students to the technical part of the staging process. Students work with supervisors to construct and assemble sets for upcoming theatre productions.

September 04-30, 2010 - Directing
Overview:
Preparing the preliminary production script; the scene - character - time - place - breakdown; the play landscape; ground plan; production time table.

October 01-30, 2010 - Acting for Directors
Overview:
Acting for directors opens a new, more practical aspect of performance work where students work in teams to experience professional ethic relationships. The course offerswork on action and character; the network of relationships; understanding the story - the plot.

November 01-30, 2010 - Text and Writing
Overview:

Overview:
The first encounter; understanding the character's action; the shape of drama; forming a concept.

March 01-30, 2011 - History of Drama and Stage Design
Overview:
The course is designed to introduce students to the history of architecture and stage design in ancient European theatre. History of drama and Stage Design is also designed to introduce students to the European drama between the Roman Empire and the beginning of the 19th century.

April 01-30, 2011 - Directing
Overview:
Casting; first rehearsals; early staging; the strategy of exploration; generating the blocking; guiding the exploration; mis en scene.

May 01-30, 2011 - Acting for Directors
Overview:
At this advanced level students analyze, design, rehearse, advertise, and produce a one-act play with only two characters in it.
Through improvisation, and scene study work, students complete a small theatre performance. Finishing Acting, they are able to create their own one-act theatre production.

June 01-30, 2011 - Action Analysis/ Writing
Overview:
The work in Action Analysis/Writing continues all the aspects of Text Analysis. Students learn to define drama elements such as Conflict; The Organization of Action as a Plot; Crisis as Dramatic Action; and Super Objective.

July 1-30, 2011 - Technical Production
Overview:
Technical Production is designed to introduce students to make-up, costume, and hair design as well as to all assistant positions in a theatre production team. Students work with supervisors to construct and assemble a set, costume and make-up.

August 1-29, 2011 - History of Fine Arts
Overview:
History of Fine Arts is a historical overview of modern and post-modern art and their most famous and important representatives.

September 4-30, 2011 - The Art of Directing
Overview:
Production's score shape, tempo-rhythm, pacing; planning, technical rehearsal. The work with a Stage manager; Special Rehearsals.

October 1-30, 2011 - Scriptwriting
Overview:
Students write a short story and transform it into a short screenplay. When the script is completed, it is shot, edited, and presented on screen.

November 1-30, 2011 - Acting Performance
Overview:
Continues the work from Acting. Students take part in a full-length classical or contemporary play. The course ends with a public presentation of the theatre performance. Students continue their training in advertising, public relations, front theatre management, box-office service, rules, and regulations in the professional theatre stage space. On the basis of research and critical examination of the audience, and a professional theatre performance, students produce a final thesis-paper about the characters they play.

January 4-30, 2012 - Technical Production
Overview:
The course is concerned with contemporary design and the role of the designer in the theatre as it may affect the stage in its various formations and configurations; formulating attitudes and approaches to finding the 'core' and 'metaphor', from which all artistic decisions concerning a production
are made.

February 1-27, 2012 - History of Drama and Stage Design
Overview:
History of drama is designed to introduce student actors to the latest practical and theoretical ideas and researches in dramatic literature and performance. This theory course observes contemporary dramatic forms of art since the beginning of the 20th century. The course is designed to introduce students to the history of architecture and stage design in Medieval and Renaissance European theatre.
March 01-30, 2012 - Lighting Design and Photography
Overview:
The course introduces students to the basic principles of photography. Topics are: General rules of composition, shutter speed, aperture/f stop, basic functions of a camera, exposure, depth of field, film, filters, lenses, flash, light composition, etc. The course introduces to: fist discussions, sketching, working in dynamic mode, the central metaphor, changes during rehearsal, and the final draft. The course also introduces students the role and responsibilities of the lighting and camera department in the film making process. Topics are: digital camera operation, composition, dolly shot, and shooting for the edit. The work in this course is coordinated with Technical Production and On-camera.

May 01-30, 2012 - Making a Model
Overview:
Each student researches, designs, constructs, and realizes a model of a theatre set. The course is conducted through weekly tutorials and discussions on model design techniques and approaches to problem solving. Class content includes revision of basic materials, principles, organizational skills, scheduling, and working space organization. Students gain experience and practice in the research of an agreed and specific one-act play.

June 01-30, 2012 - History of Clothing/Costume
Overview:
The course is designed to introduce students to the history of clothing/ costume and will cover following historical periods: Ancient World, Middle Ages, Renaissance, Baroque, Rococo, 17th Century to present. Students will analyze both orally and in writing issues of period and style as they relate to design elements.

July 01-30, 2012 - The Art of Directing
Overview:
Students direct a full-length classical or contemporary play. The course ends with a public presentation of the theatre performance. On the basis of research and critical examination of the audience, and an assigned professional theatre performance, students produce a research paper.

August 1-28, 2012 - Designer/Director collaboration
Overview:
First discussions; sketches; central visual metaphor; the model; costumes; props; technical and dress rehearsals.

September 4-30, 2012 - Technical Production
Overview:
The course offers the opportunity and the challenge for second year students to take part in every step of a real film production: from writing the script to the editing of the tape, and the presentation on the screen.

October 1-30, 2012 - Directing
Overview:
Students direct either a full-length classical or contemporary play or a video film production. The course ends with a public presentation. On the basis of research and critical examination of the audience, and an assigned professional theatre performance, students produce a final thesis-paper.

Monthly Progressive Method Acting course in Film Directing
Admission to the Monthly Progressive Method Acting Training is by the Studio faculty's selection. Advancement to a higher level is made by faculty decision. A Diploma is awarded to students who have successfully completed all levels of the program.Students in the Monthly Progressive Method Acting Training act in a theatre productions or film production every single month.
